  Kay
has spent the last twenty years working at senior level within
the public, private and not-for profit sectors, and until 2003
held the position of Regional Manager for one of the world's largest
and most respected charities. Having a keen interest in strategic planning and recognising the valuable role of staff and volunteers in delivering a service and developing an organisation, she has succeeded in enabling over thirty individual charities to improve their performance and thrive in what is a very competitive and fast-changing environment. Her practical knowledge and experience is underpinned by a Masters Degree in Business Administration, her skills as a life and business coach and the support of a team of first class associates. Kay recognises the pressures on today's not-for-profit organisations and the challenge in finding the right kind of practical support, and feels that the Mullen Wilson approach can enable each individual organisation to do the absolute best with what they already have and provide them with the opportunity to explore new and achievable options for a sustainable future. |
I decided to start Mullen Wilson Charity Support Services in 2003 after spending almost 20 years working
within the not-for-profit sector and recognising that there were huge gaps in service provision to the sector that needed to be filled.
Existing consultancy services seemed fairly impersonal and expensive, offering a series of recommendations that many organisations could
not implement without step-by-step advice and regular support. I wanted this company to fully understand each organisation they would
be working with and really become part of the team, offering practical support and advice to complement existing resources rather than
just delivering a report and a series of recommendations. We have achieved our objectives and have successfully developed many individuals
and organisations, all with very diverse needs and aspirations. With the support of a growing team of consultants, I now want to build
on our success over the past five years and be in a position to service the needs of every organisation that needs our help in the future
