Strategic and Operational Planning
Strategic planning determines the entire direction of your organisation, including what it's not doing but should be doing. Operational planning is the day-by-day and
month-by-month planning for what your organisation is doing.

We know that organisations often have difficulty in finding time to plan for the future. Day to day business carries on and it’s often the next piece of legislation, current crisis or stroke of luck that determines what happens next rather than strategic vision and a robust operational business plan.

You can take the hassle and worry out of planning by asking for help. We offer a strategic and operational planning service to suit your every need from basic training, to the preparation of a comprehensive document for an individual project, a particular directorate or the whole organisation.

Organisational audits
An independent evaluation of your organisation can help you re-focus on the future with renewed enthusiasm. We can investigate the control, monitoring and decision making mechanisms throughout the organisation that indicate whether your organisation is managing its activities effectively and can offer support and guidance to help you make any necessary changes with the minimum disruption to services and morale.

Preparation of business plans
Secure grant funding with a robust business plan. We can help you prepare a sound and manageable business plan for any purpose. Be in a stronger position to secure funding, attract support and ensure credibility by sensibly planning your future, estimating timelines, allocating budgets and identifying and managing opportunities and risks. It’s easy when you know how!
Sue Palanganda
Kay prepared and facilitated a planning session that helped staff and trustees look at our organisation, design a future that was right for us and develop an operational plan that helped us deliver this strategic vision. Although it seemed a very big task that we had all been putting off for far too long, it actually turned out to be a fairly simple and enjoyable exercise that gave us the first blueprint for the organisation that we could be. Since that first planning session the organisation has gone from strength to strength, securing additional funding, moving to more central office premises, developing partnership working, employing additional members of staff and delivering a wider range of services. I would urge all organisations to carry out a similar exercise.
